The internal electronics of the PTI-S pressure transmitter (model accuracy 0.25%) will be updated to use the same chassis as the 0.50% accuracy model.
All PTI-S models, regardless of accuracy class, will have the same frame dimensions. There will be no change to the operation of the product, the change visible to the customer will only affect the A dimension of the product. See table above.
Reasons for the change:
- Reliability: the upgrade removes one critical component, reducing the risk of supply chain disruptions and unplanned downtime.
- Reduced maintenance requirements: fewer internal components means fewer potential failure points and reduced maintenance requirements.
- Improved performance: enhanced electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) improves signal integrity in electrically interference-prone environments.
