The course will be led by Chuck Hayes, a globally respected hydrogen expert. It is aimed at anyone looking to deepen their expertise in safe, reliable, and leak-tight hydrogen systems.

Introduction to the Trainer: Chuck Hayes
Chuck Hayes is Swagelok's Global Technical Lead and a top expert in hydrogen technology. He has decades of experience in clean energy and hydrogen flow systems, standardization, and product development.
Key Experiences:
- Contributed to the development of North American and international hydrogen and gas standards (CSA and ISO TC197).
- Held multiple leadership positions in international working groups advancing the hydrogen economy.
- Developed innovative solutions for hydrogen system components (7 U.S. patents and several international patents for fitting, valve, and welding products).

Course Format, Duration, and Price
Designing, installing, and maintaining a high-quality hydrogen tubing system to ensure safety and operational integrity requires in-depth knowledge. For this reason, the training program begins with an understanding of the fundamentals of hydrogen and progresses to critical topics such as industry standards, materials science, tubing system design, leak detection, and aspects related to system maintenance.
The course combines theoretical instruction with practical exercises, including:
- Installation of tube fittings
- Tube bending
- Leak detection
Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of designing tubing systems intended for hydrogen use.
Upon completion of the course, participants will receive a Swagelok® performance certificate, valid for three years. Customer training records are stored in the Swagelok Customer Training Records System, enabling quick and easy access for verification.
