Notice of Change: The new ALD7A valve will replace the previous model ALD7
The previous ALD7 model will be phased out of production over the next 18–22 months. The exact timeline depends on when the remaining inventory is depleted. New orders for the previous ALD7 version will be accepted until that time, giving customers sufficient time to communicate the change and requalify their processes for the new ALD7A version.
New ALD7A Valve for Semiconductor Applications
A frequently expressed need in the semiconductor industry has been the ability to adjust flow on-site. The ALD7A addresses this need, offering more precise and consistent dosing in demanding semiconductor applications. Factory-set flow remains a standard feature of the product.
The ALD7A actuator shown in the image features a new visual indicator that signifies the ability to adjust the flow rate at the point of use. Valves updated with this feature can be easily distinguished from the previous model.
In addition to the adjustment feature, the ALD7A’s flow performance has been improved, particularly under challenging operating conditions, such as temperaturesexceeding 150 °C and vacuum levels below 100 torr.
Applications operating in these environments benefit from higher flow capacity and improved consistency between valves. See the ALD7A diaphragm valve technical report MS-06-125 for more information on these performance improvements.
The ALD product catalogs MS-02-301 and MS-02-442 have been updated to feature only the ALD7A product.
