Based on feedback from sales and service centres and customers, Swagelok maintains a significant proportion of its EC79 certificates.
Although the industry is moving from EC79 to ISO-19887-1 for automotive fittings and valves, testing to the new standard has not yet been completed.
Therefore, Swagelok continues to supply the majority of its EC79 certified products according to the table below. This will help maintain existing customer relationships and give customers time to transition to the new standard.
The table provides details of the certifications for these product ranges.
Once these products have been tested to the ISO-19887-1 specification, the Letters of Attestation (LoA) will be made available. Swagelok does not intend to apply for type approval or to mark products as conforming to this ISO standard.
